Bubble boyz
The far right neocons persist in marginalizing themselves with hate and irrationality, taking with them the entire GOP, Christians, evangelicals, conservatives and moderates. It’s a spectacle. A spectacular one. One buoyed exclusively by vituperative vitriolic invective vehemence. Pardon me but brainspank literally loves alliteration and it just happens to be entirely true.
I’m trying to tell you it lacks substance entirely.
They’ve abandoned facts and reason completely for fear, anger and hatred.
Republicans used to be wrong, not unreasonably stupid. Not so unapologetically obtuse.
Misguided perhaps but not insane.
What the fuck happened? Whatever it was, it took place on my generation’s watch. The elephantine have always been more racist, a little more greedy, a little too covetous of power and influence, a little too hypocritically pious and a little too lacking in compassion for the plight of the average American. That at least has been my perception.
Over the last two decades however, they’ve morphed into the political equivalent of little Regan from The Exorcist. Pun firmly and resolutely intended. Nasty, pea soup projectile vomiting, head spinning, cartoon effigies. When called on their bullshit, they hide behind an ugly wrongheaded nationalism thinly disguised as patriotism. Naked ugly jingoism. Ironic the “isms” they so casually toss at the rest of us.
They leave scales like fish wherever they go. It’s true.
My generation has witnessed the emergence and fortuitous exorbitance of such profound and disgusting dicktards as Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, Bill O’Reilly, Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity. Elected representatives like Santorum, Ensign, DeLay, Palin, Dumbya, Grassley, Bachmann, Cantor, Gingrich, Joe Wilson and John Boehner. Birthers, Deathers, Teabaggers, Tenthers and Twelvers. Michael Steele, Joe The Plumber, Dick Cheney and Fox fucking news. Each and every one on this incomplete list of a uniquely American cavalcade of contretemps is a lying, obfuscating, shamelessly and hypocritically unpatriotic goddamn piece of shit.
And they all represent the contemporary conservative movement. Bear with me, I’m getting at something here.
Worthless, toxic, poisonous entities. Zero contribution to constructive public discourse. Absent everything save prurience and avarice. Giant boulders of sand in a smallish tub of Vaseline. Kidney stones the size of a thumb in an already inflamed urinal tract. Ugly and dumb.
Soon, they’ll disavow being mammals.
Take for example the rhetoric over the Nobel.
Some dickhead from Fox, Brian Kilmeade, wonders aloud whether Obama delayed the decision on troop deployment in Afghanistan to better his chances for the Nobel.
The Human Shitsmear announces that the “Nobel Gang have just suicide bombed themselves”.
Some asshat from Redstate said it was part of an “affirmative action quota”.
Glenn Beck thinks the Teabaggers deserve it more.
And The Human Shitsmear says “Something has happened here that we all agree with the Taliban and Iran about and that is he doesn’t deserve the award.”
Curiouser and curiouser. Crazier and crazier. From shrill and scary, to gangs of banshees on meth.
Thus they further isolate themselves and alienate the humane and honest. As their bubble shrinks, it’s skin grows thicker. They hear and see less and less of the real world. Their shared view, ever more myopic. They inhabit more and more the CAVE dweller acronym. To wit: citizens against virtually everything. Get it?
I could spend all day providing egregious example after outrageous foray into overt racism, lies, baseless smears, deliberate distortions, hypocrisy, mean spirited interpretations………but see, I already have. I have been for years. I’m not alone. Not by far. They are so very afraid and fear is a great force multiplier.
It’s a fact that the number of Americans who identify themselves as Republican is way down and there’s no end to that atrophy in sight. Disdain for for their lies and misrepresentations grow. The last two election cycles have borne this out. Yet The Human Shitsmear still has about 20 million listeners and Fox yet enjoys better than twice the audience of CNN and MSNBC combined. I can’t help but be ecstatic about the their self perpetuating and therefore self defeating dynamic, but they stall manage to kick a lot of balls and infect substantial consciousness on the way down.
I believe at least 25% of any given population is incorrigibly stupid. Roughly the number that still supported Nixon. Roughly the number that still supports Bush. It’s a fact. Show me what you’re workin’ with.
Ah but:
“The White House’s battle with Fox News reached a new high on Sunday, when Communications Director Anita Dunn went on national television to blast Fox as a partisan organization that functions as an appendage to the Republican Party.
“Fox News often operates almost as either the research arm or the communications arm of the Republican Party,” Dunn told CNN, adding, “let’s not pretend [Fox is] a news organization like CNN is.” Dunn also took her beef to The New York Times, saying in a Sunday interview that Fox is “undertaking a war against Barack Obama and the White House [and] we don’t need to pretend that this is the way that legitimate news organizations behave.” -The Nation
Fuckin’ A.
There are those who would say, among them David Gergen of CNN, that the administration can neither afford to engage the FOX network in the context of so many larger issues at hand, and that it is somehow unseemly or inappropriate.
I admit I understand, and even feel that on certain levels, but still I have to call bullshit on it. This ain’t your dad’s TV News. There are no rules, no decorum, it’s all changed and these guys are assholes. They have no integrity, they’re in it for the money and they won’t quit until it stops paying. Reptiles pure and plain. They all spend time on a warm rock every day.
Never has a President been so embattled with zero emphasis on policy, ever. They never ever even bother to introduce or even recognize actual stated, written positions or policies ever. Ever. FOX news and it’s cadre of asshole spokesholes is the worst example of journalism in this or any other civilized country. They are the suicide bombers of the American Media. They would never die for their beliefs but they willingly fall on swords of stupidity and blow themselves up with combustible bigotry all day long. The key difference between them and the real thing is the lack of integrity and courage. Truth and honesty. The ‘real thing’ being fanatics with the twisted courage of conviction and journalists with truth as their ideal. FOX falls no where in between even those two extremes. At the end of the day, they sacrifice their dignity and self respect. They wake every morning fresh, to plunge into ignorance, reckless hostility and enmity and lie after fucking lie after fucking lie.
For nothing but the filthy lucre.
I’m completely aware of the potential consequence (s) a protracted street brawl between the White House and an entity like FOX and I am fully in favor of this administration taking them on and cleaning their clock. When they do their damndest to lie, call them on their irresponsible and misleading shit. You think the brain trust at FOX can even approach the level of intelligence, wit and wisdom in the White House? Me either. It’s not like it will be heavy lifting or time consuming.
I know full well that there are way bigger fish to fry but this has a strategic component to it too. Although the mouth breathers are a minority, they are a sizable and vocal one, and the most obvious and singular ringmaster is…….well, the Cartoon Network and then FOX.
Again, this ain’t your dad’s TV News.
“This ain`t no party, this ain`t no disco, this ain`t no fooling around
No time for dancing, or lovey dovey, I ain`t got time for that now” -The Talking Heads
I believe it to be an absolute imperative of cunning and tactics. Bring it. And just maybe, for once, the Democrats will be seen to have a spine and a pair of testicles. Wouldn’t that be cool? Like punching the bully in the mouth so hard he falls down in front of the bus and the Democrats just once, walk up the steps breathing steam, proud and righteous.
That’s what I’m talking about.

That one does better than the other one, big suprise
The DOW down seven hundred thirty points today. Uh huh.
CNN says Doubtfire won the first half hour. I have a bridge for sale. When the gate opened, he stuttered and the ball fell to the floor. He drooled a little and recovered, but c’mon.
Cool calm and composed was Our Man. Nice. Substance long. We did fine.
Doubtfire actually looked at Our Man this time and engaged him. Best he’s done so far. Still, far less specifics and far more boiler plate bullshit stump rhetoric spewed by McCain than Obama. The “he’ll raise you taxes and I won’t” crap.
Frustrating in light of Obama pointing out over and over that his plan calls for cuts for nintey five percent of us. It’s like Doubtfire has pockets full of dead horses. Turns out he does. Poor bastard.
Forgive me the anger of what you are about to receive.
McCain takes upon himself to label Our Man’s tax policies “class warfare”. Were he to say that sitting next to me at a table I’d have swung for his mouth hard. The most massive redistribution of wealth in history has taken place under this administration and guess where the fucking money went? Check your goddamn pockets. After knocking him from his chair I’d be yelling and probably kicking. I’d be screaming words like AIG, Keating, Haliburton and Exxon/Mobile. This particular kind of egregious double contrary speak makes we want to go fucking nuclear. Fuck you McFuckstain, that’s a lie.
Anyway.
McCain’s hatchet and scalpel analogy was damn good. Props. That would be excellent.
Ayers and Acorn flatlined and Joe The Plumber was far from a game changer.
Either his legs or his lungs failed him. It’s fair to say that he stumbled upon his own energy crisis. He has neither the wit nor the wherewithal to keep pace with this Man of Ours.
The Ohio undecided focus group (UM’s*), hosted by CNN said it was that one, over the other one, by fifteen to ten. Yup. The first CNN polls are pretty wide and I’m done with all punditry at 8:23 pm.
It was the most interesting and entertaining of all the Presidential debates. McCain swinging harder than ever but never finding much more than air. He just couldn’t connect. Obama was smooth, extraordinarily skilled and athletic. Doubtfire acknowledged it a couple times by remarking on his eloquence. He did so with a sneer and it cost him. John McCain is an arrogant prick and people see it.
Today CNN’s electoral map shows Obama all but locked down for 277 electoral votes? 270 is the majority. Ahem.
David Gergen said in answering the question what does Mcain do now, answered, “Beat’s the hell out of me”. Big laughs. The Bootlicker threw the best he had and it wasn’t good enough. He went on to advise that Doubtfire should begin working to stop the Republican loss of blood in the House and the Senate, get positive on the economy and lose the Bill Ayers obfuscation tactic.
I’ll let you in on a little secret. Small, because most of you know or at least suspect. A lot of things being promised by either man, hoped for and aspired to, are not realistic. Probably not possible. Very unlikely. My focus is and has always been, on the intelligence and capability of the individual who would lead us out of this magnificent clusterfuck.
I am more secure than ever, that I and most Americans will ultimately do right by ourselves when it comes to these two men. Given the state of our Republic and of the rest of the world, I feel about as good as I possibly can about what is likely to happen next. I am pleased.
“Um’s” (unaccompanied minors)*, you know, independents and undecideds, will break for Obama. Not by a wide margin, but it will be more than enough to carry the day. Yes, that was an official brainspank prediction. We will know by midnight our time.
Here’s a keen and salient observation on my part. Their heads. They are opposite in shape. Doubtfire’s is bottom heavy. Fatty jowls vs. a rather sizable upper cranium. I’m just saying.
Seriously, who’s your Daddy?

*new nick name or nomenclature
Post #284. I like this one.
I was troubled after the CNN presentation of interviews with both candidates by the leader of the Saddleback Church, Rick Warren.
Question number one is who is this friendly bastard and why is he here? National Television. An influential religious figure gets this kind of airtime on a cable news network?
All I care to know is he heads a megachurch. The fourth largest in the country. The biggest in the biggest state of California.
So you know, fuck him. Ha! That much power in the venue of God and fear and the fear of God, discredits the man entirely in my book.
Ever seen “There Will Be Blood”?
He seemed nice enough. Some of the questions were compelling.
John “conception” McCain did very well. The bar was low but he succeeded in raising it. You know, they said the same about Dumbya. So yeah, Doubtfire did quite well and that pains me of course. He was direct and resolute. Simple. I imagine he’d just had his cocktail of vitamins and stimulants via the nightly needle.
Our Man was far more conversational and relaxed. Yes, he was nuanced. Profoundly. When he spoke of the humility we must maintain when confronting evil because too much harm has been done in the name of good for example. Eloquent and salient. This guy is good.
The thing is this, that honest and thoughtful shit doesn’t always play in Peoria or Clearwater. That’s a shame.
I’m angry. I’m over having to make room for the stupid, lazy and underinformed. It doesn’t take a genius to see we’re fucked and the group that’s fucking us are all dressed the same with similar haircuts. The codgers all sport the “Doubtfire”. The Dorothy Hamill for the pasty set. Often they look like their pink heads are about to combust under their pale gossamer combovers.
Except the insurgents, they look like us. They talk liberal but vote neocon.
What that is, is talking complex to obfuscate ignorance. Willfull ignorance.
I have empathy for the authentically stupid.
I have disdain for the willfully ignorant. They disgust me. Intellectually dishonest, most likely greedy and dispassionate.
Sometimes it all seems so hopeless.
I talked to two good old friends today. Older and younger by about the same amount. Both very good men. I have a much stronger bond with one of them but it doesn’t matter here. The older was far more pessimistic than my younger friend. I was curious to find myself in the middle. It struck me that chronologically, my veiws were predictable. Typical.
Then I considered the company I was in. That thought became a bit of a revelation. I flirted with epiphany.
It never quite came.
The older said truthfully that we can and always will do worse.
The younger said honestly that he believes we will do better and there is a way.
I have Deja Vu.

Edwards moistens stinger
It goes without saying, as an enthusiastic supporter of John Edwards, as someone who believes in him and his message, I am profoundly disappointed with the news today. I feel for his wife, his family and his miserable self.
I will always insist, regardless of an individual’s political affiliation, or anything else really, that private life should remain private. Doesn’t matter whether it’s a public figure or not. Absent crimes with victims, it’s simply not our business.
I’m disgusted by the sensationalism and exploitation that has no doubt just begun to gather volume and velocity.
The train has left the station.
I refuse to judge any married man or woman who would stray. It’s not my place and I’m confident it’s not yours.
Nonetheless, reality is unrelenting, so my anger and disdain are acute and I’m plenty pissed off. As David Gergen so adroitly pointed out on CNN, he knew exactly what he was doing as he sought the Democratic nomination for President of the United States. Were he to have prevailed in that contest, we’d be witnessing the comprehensive implosion of Democratic hopes for the White House as well as a severely deleterious shitstorm for the party.
Irresponsible, wreckless and reeking of hubris.
An incredibly dumb move.
I do believe his intentions to help Joe Six Pack and the less fortunate, were and are sincere, but I’m furious over such selfish and stupid judgement.
It’s almost certain that his political aspirations have come to an abrupt end. I believe it is the least he deserves. He was clearly willing to jeopardize the entire future of America in her most dire of times and that really, really sucks. Therefore, so does he.
Did he endorse and probably encourage torture? Did he send thousands of Americans and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis to their deaths for a lie? Did he flout our Constitution? Did he deliberately break the backs of our middle class by further enriching the already filthy rich?
The answer is no.
He ran a spotless campaign.
Would he have made a good President?
My opinion is absolutely yes.
It is abundantly clear however, that he doesn’t deserve to be the leader of the free world any more than George W. Bush ever has.
That is a fact that saddens me more than you know.
Fuck me, this sucks. It’s gonna leave a mark. It’s gonna leave a stain.

Cognoscenti
The talking heads have coalesced on how to frame Our Man’s travels abroad.
Roaring success with a foreign policy/national security bump vs. overstepping his station. His place. Gergen was bellowing this crap tonight on CNN.
Looks to me to be establishing relationships so he can hit the ground running once he’s elected. They complain he’s so bold as to do the President’s job, yet the President remains both unwilling and incapable.
Forgive me, uppity?
Yup, it is. Big balls on Our Man. I’m impressed. Fucking A.
It is chronic, this adolescent navel gazing the media succumbs to. They pretend to ask themselves whether they talk too much about Our Man, while they talk even more about him, so Senator Doubtfire gets the short end of spotlight stick.
You can imagine, this conundrum doesn’t much try my patience.
I’m sponsoring the widely held elitist view that McCain is boring at best; doddering at not so best. He’s fucking creepy. Obama is way better television and he’s kicking ass over there. Got an official agreement on troop withdrawl from Iraq PM, Nouri al-Maliki. Looked very presidential with Hamid Karzai. He drained one from outside the paint on some army base.
Obama Don’t Bowl!
Obama drains balls?
Obama Don’t Bowl, in white on a good quality navy tee. I saw Stewart did his show on this tonight but by then I had the sound off. If he did something similiar, chalk it up to great minds thinking alike. I avoid Sir Jon when I’m writing politics.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch.
As direct consequence of such shallow introspection, the media is poised to manufacture the slightest gaff by Obama into a Cat Five Vortex complete with flying cows that are shitting because they’re not used to flying. A shitstorm far beyond flying shitting cows.
No need to keep an eye out. It will hit you on the head over and over when it happens.
They had to do something. They’ve been caught red handed paying more attention to the more interesting, dynamic guy that just happens to be bowling them over, pun intended, in a good part of the rest of the world.
Whaddaya want fer nuthin? A rubber biscuit?
Today I purchased my first Southern Style Crispy Chicken Sandwich from Don’s place. The product has been sitting on my granite countertop since aprox. 3:20 PST. It is now about 9:45 PST and I’ve just taken my second bite.
It’s a good sugar to salt ratio. Kinda the bun in contrast to the meat postulate observed as key to most food products on the menu at Don’s place. Ever notice the powderiness of the salt they give you? Genius. Granules far better suited to adhere to your fries than ordinary table salt.
Wendy’s does this as well.
It was the random pickle chip protruding from underneath the bun in the TV ad that first got my attention. The way the sandwich rotated with golden culinary symmetry. Immaculately interrupted by that jagged corrugated fleshy green pickle chip………………….
It left me wistful but secure in the knowledge that someday I would purchase one for my very own to taste, savor and rejoice in.
I’m gonna have another bite and refrigerate it for the next round of tests.
I think pickles are a boon to fast food products of all kinds and should be exploited more. Compared to cheap ass mayonnaise and flavorless lettuce and tomatos, pickles are a zesty bold flavor and a real crunch enhancer. Provided they aren’t punk ass, chewy, vinegary cucumbers.
When I buy pickles I look for some dill and peppercorns in the jar at least.
So anyway, the texture is good, even after six unrefrigerated hours on my countertop. This does belie a certain structural integrity on the part of the sanwich. A good sign. I’ve no idea why they included the word “southern” in the title of the product other than perhaps the patty is chicken and of the fried variety.
My conclusion is that although tasty and gut satisfying, this new menu item at Don’s could use something more. More onions, more pickles perhaps. Mine had but two, barely larger than a quarter. It could use more committment on the part of the skilled and talented chef’s and their underlings.
I’m just saying, dress that product thoroughly. It’s new! Aren’t you excited to be making a new sandwich?
I can’t help but wonder if it isn’t a little premature. Not done yet basking beneath the flavor enhancing glow of the brighest, yellowest fast food arches in the universe.
It’s future as a menu item remains uncertain.
Tips: Order it with cheese for texture and a little whang. Remember, if you get fries, get some of Don’s salt. I don’t usually drink soda, but when I eat at Don’s, I has me some soda. I’m about the carbonation and not the sugar, so I order diet, but indulge in the bubbles, whatever kind blows your skirt up.
I’ve just now taken a bite of the below room temperature product. It’s really horrible in it’s gelatinous state.
Last test is to nuke the remaining bite and a half…………..
Drinks for my friends.
Ya gotta love it
I knew this bomb of a tome set sail some time ago. If I knew, they knew. Trust me. McClellan telegraphed both the book and the tone thereof, months ago when he was quoted on Plamegate.
“The most powerful leader in the world had called upon me to speak on his behalf and help restore credibility he lost amid the failure to find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. So I stood at the White house briefing room podium in front of the glare of the klieg lights for the better part of two weeks and publicly exonerated two of the senior-most aides in the White House: Karl Rove and Scooter Libby. There was one problem.
It was not true.
I had unknowingly passed along false information. And five of the highest ranking officials in the administration were involved in my doing so: Rove, Libby, the vice President, the President’s chief of staff, and the president himself.”
Again, I first read that months ago. I was a little excited. Excited like Easter morning. Excited about the egg hunt, the toys and the chocolate. In my family, it was Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Why are they all acting so suprised? This train has been belching steam for months.
Some senior campaign spokeshole for the Pantsuit named Kitty or something pined away for decency, insinuated Pasty McSquinty had somehow exhibited bad form. Whined that he had committed some political and ethical faux pas. He should have at least waited until the administration was allowed to escape. David Gergen piled on a little. He bristled at Anderson Cooper’s musing that they’re there to spin and obfuscate anyway.
Let me give you my take on it. Looks like Mr. Pasty McSquinty is my new mythical rabbit. Hoppin’ down the bunny trail. This is fascinating and glorious. I used to hate this bastard. This guy was infuckingside. They used him every day. Sent him out to be a pinata. I used to howl at him. It was comedy. They sent this poor fuck out in a straight jacket, day after day, with the words “sign language only” ringing in his ears.
I said back then it looked like the worst job in the world.
He went home and broke pencils for a while. Built birdhouses. Seethed. A quiet, but accomplished man who valued loyalty. He began to realize he was the cannon fodder they intended him to be. It was a severe blow to his heart and his ego.
Eventually, he felt liberated.
He found a passion for gardening. His flowerbeds were breathtaking.
He was able to masturbate in the shower again.
Then he wrote a book.
What he’s done is gone postal in an upper echelon Executive Branch kinda way. He’s effectively crapped down the neck of Dick-in-Bush.
On a related note, the guy who composed and performed the whistling theme song for Opie Cunningham and Andy Griffith died today.
Despite that last caveat, it’s a gorgeous set of circumstances. I thinkk the official release is Monday, the second of June. It will be Easter to me. I’ll buy the book, some candy and go to a diner for breakfast. I’ll be sure to order ham. I’ll get some some pre-packaged hardboiled eggs from the 7-11.
There may not be a thing in there I don’t already know but this is gonna be good stuff.
Drinks for my friends.
Obama talks
Oh my.
No fierce and fiery delivery today.
It begins with a brief history of race in America. Not at all didactic. It is conversational and sincere. Very real.
He talks about himself. His family and heritage. I am moved.
He is brilliant. He runs at it head on. Brave and with dignity.
He does what he needs to to do and he does relish doing it.
An extraordinarily courageous piece of work. We’ll most likely watch it for decades.
David Gergen called it the best speech of the campaign.
He speaks of Reverend Wright as being not part of the big picture and he’s right. The man is not perfect. He disagrees with him. He tells us that he knows far more of the man than those endless fifteen second soundbites.
Five goddamn days of this shite.
It’s magnificently ridiculous. What exactly are you people doing? The American media is an embarrassing stain. Let it go you fucking fucks. Stop. Knock it the fuck off. What Geraldine Ferraro said is far worse than anything this guy had to say.
Most of what I’ve heard him say is ugly but true. You guys scared of ugly but true?
Look at me. It’s not like Reverend Wright is lying. We are ruled by rich white people who don’t give a mad fuck about anyone else. Most black people know this. White people need to wake and smell the goddamn flesh burning.
He talks about his church, the noise and the peace. The flaws.
He points out that this man married he and his wife, and baptized his two children. He has no intention of walking away from the man and we should all put his remarks in the context of the life he’s lived as opposed to our own experience. Reverend Wright lived a life of humiliation, doubt and fear. Of anger and bitterness. The agony of generations of defeat.
He tells us that we cannot hope to walk a mile in this man’s shoes.
He points out the dangers of both black and white dogma.
His message is honest. It is eloquent.
He speaks the truth. It’s beauty is simple
I cannot tell you. Perhaps you should watch it.
Forgive me, still figuring out the links thing. Cut and paste bitches.

Submitted for your approval, the drama unfolding on an ever bleaker world stage, on this day the thirteenth of February in the year of 2007.
As a second carrier group steams toward the gulf this week, Newsweek reports that a third is likely to follow soon. Do we have any idea the havoc that can be wrought by three aircraft carrier groups and nearly sixty warships total? How many nukes are on those ships and on the submarines that are surely lurking underneath?
From the Associated Press today and lifted directly from my friend Doug’s blog:
Pace contradicts claims by other U.S. military, administration officials
The Associated Press
Updated: 3:32 p.m. ET Feb 13, 2007
JAKARTA, Indonesia – A top U.S. general said Tuesday there was no evidence the Iranian government was supplying Iraqi insurgents with highly lethal roadside bombs, apparently contradicting claims by other U.S. military and administration officials.
Gen. Peter Pace, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said U.S. forces hunting down militant networks that produced roadside bombs had arrested Iranians and that some of the material used in the devices were made in Iran.
“That does not translate that the Iranian government per se, for sure, is directly involved in doing this,” Pace told reporters in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta. “What it does say is that things made in Iran are being used in Iraq to kill coalition soldiers.”
His remarks might raise questions on the credibility of the claims of high-level Iranian involvement, especially following the faulty U.S. intelligence that was used to justify the invasion of Iraq in 2003.
Three senior military officials in Baghdad said Sunday that the highest levels of Iranian government were responsible for arming Shiite militants in Iraq with the bombs, blamed for the deaths of more than 170 U.S. troops
Asked Monday directly if the White House was confident that the weaponry is coming on the approval of the Iranian government, spokesman Tony Snow said, “Yes.”
Iran on Monday denied any involvement.
“Such accusations cannot be relied upon or be presented as evidence. The United States has a long history in fabricating evidence. Such charges are unacceptable,” Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad Ali Hosseini told reporters in Tehran.
Also, new Secretary of Defense Robert Gates said on Friday that he’s “not frankly specifically certain myself of the details”.
And today our new commander in the region Admiral William J. Fallon said “I have no idea who may be with hands on, on this stuff”.
David Gergen on CNN, no friend of us peaceniks, just called the whole thing “wierd and botched”.
The emperor is buck naked, sporting gooseflesh and he appears to be jaundiced. Even though his eyes leak tears from the Washington winter cold, he stands before us completely unaware that our gaze is drawn to his shriveled purple phallus. He knows not of his own leaflessness.
But his his sack is huge and distended by the swollen fruit within.
There’s a fine line between clever and stupid. Rest assured that the balls of The Decider In Chief are massive by reason of stupidity. Also know that these are not those of brass the we’ve come to so admire on some leaders. The testes adorning this village idiot are no more durable than overripe grapes. He knows nothing of this either.
Snot leaks from nostrils and spittle flies from his mouth agape as his bird like head head pivots to catch sight of a horrified citizen pointing and gawking at his shrunken manhood and a grossly oversized pair of man produce.
Iran has a thriving modern infrastructure and it’s military is certainly no paper tiger like that of Iraq. It is a civilized country nearly three times the size of Iraq with a population of nearly seventy million that has grown and prospered unfettered by sanctions from the west.
Those who would charge that various weapons are sourced from Iran and that the highest levels of it’s government are complicit, have no evidence to support such claims and their names are being kept secret on their own insistence. That makes me all warm and fuzzy.
Iraq is a miasma of dominoes that we continue to kick over with no idea of when or where they will stop tipping into others. Iran is a massive forest of the metaphorical slabs that our arsonists laureate, Dick-in-Bush, are gearing up to topple en masse in all directions. Once they get started, I won’t be suprised to see the Iranian army spilling across the the Iraqi border.
Wthout question, chaos will then have siezed the reigns in the Middle East and there’s no predicting where it will end. I can virtually guaruntee that the 3,100 plus dead Americans and some where around three quarters of a million dead Iraqis will suddenly become Sesame Street numbers in the scheme of things. The violence, carnage, destruction and horror we’ve witnessed so far will rapidly become Fisher Price.
Already we use ammunition containing lethal amounts of depleted uranium in Iraq without any regard. Finally, mainstream media has begun to notice. White phosphorus, torture, kidnapping and rendering, war profiteering…………I mean pallets of cash. Pallets of four hundred thousand dollar bricks or “footballs”. Of fucking cash!
And they continue to hammer away with a heavy sledge, at our liberties, our rights.
And now they want another war.
Think about that.
On top of one that will surely bankrupt us.
On top of the one with no end in sight.
On top of the one that has left us completely bereft of credibility in the world.
Our arsonists laureate, Dick-in-Bush. seek to gash open another wound, with the old one still bleeding profusely, not knowing or caring if it causes all of us to bleed out.
My hero, Hunter S. Thompson once said that when the going gets wierd, the wierd turn pro. I’m starting to wonder if he meant that we will not have a choice.
Take a look at who our arsonists laureate want to burn next
‘Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
‘Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!’
He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought–
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.
And as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!
One, two! One, two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.
‘And hast thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!’
He chortled in his joy.
‘Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
Drinks for my friends.
